Sandy Hollow Campground
This well-kept and cozy campground offers a nature walking trail, three-mile bike path, softball and soccer areas, volleyball courts, fishing ponds, children's playground, swimming pool, and nine-hole golf course nearby. Location: Three miles east of Sioux Center on B-40 blacktop or 3395 400th Street. Camp Fees: One night: $10.00 electric; $13 electric/water; $15 full hookup. Weekly: $55 electric; $70 electric/water; $85 full hookup. Reservations honored. For information call (712) 722-2491 or (712) 722-0761.
Children's Park Campground
This campground is readily available with electric hookups only. Location: 852 4th Avenue SE. Camp fees: One night: $8 non-electric; $10 electric. Weekly: $45 non-electric; $55 electric. Reservations not honored. For information call (712) 722-0761.
  
Open Space Park
Located next to Dordt College and the Junior/Senior High School, Open Space Park consists of 80 acres of public recreational facilities including: an all-weather rubber track, a lighted football field, a lighted sand volleyball court, 4 lighted tennis courts, a lighted baseball field, a softball field, an exercise trail, a half-mile race track, the Sioux County Fairgrounds, and the All Seasons Center with indoor and outdoor pools, a multi purpose arena and senior center.
  
Central Park
Central Park is 3 acres and is located in the center of Sioux Center. The park contains an open and closed shelter house, a band shell, a paved volleyball court,  handicap accessible restrooms, and the new Central Adventure playground.
  
Westside Park
Westside Park has playground equipment, an open shelter house, a sand volleyball court, and a soccer area.
  
Regency Park
This 3 acre park has an open shelter house and playground equipment, which are ready to be used. There are plans to add ball fields and soccer fields to the park also.
  
Tower Fields
Located on the west end of Sioux Center, it consists of 4 ball fields this year. The new fields will not have lights, and they are different sizes. The north field is 255' to the fence and the south field is a little league diamond with 175' length to the fence. Tower Fields are open for public use whether you have a team or just want to practice.
  
Crown Pointe Vernon Park
Sioux Center's newest park is located on the southeast side next to Crown Pointe senior living community. An open shelter house and playground equipment are available for use.
  
  
Sandy Hollow Golf Course and Pro Shop
Established in 1963, Sandy Hollow is a comfortable nine-hole golf course located at 3413 400th Street. This Par Five, 265 member golf club is open to the public from dawn to dusk during the summer months. Practice area, rental carts, snacks and beverages are available on a daily basis. The clubhouse is frequently used for weddings and private parties. For information call (712) 722-4866.
  
All Seasons Center
A multi-purpose, family friendly facility designed with entertainment options for all ages. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools featuring zero-depth entry, a lap pool, diving well, water slides, hot tub and children’s water play area. An upper level room is also available for observation. The Vernon Arena features ice hockey & ice skating for all ages, an all-purpose arena for dry-floor events, and the Senior Center. For more information call (712) 722-4FUN [4386].

Children's Summer Arts and Crafts
Children entering kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to attend Summer Arts and Crafts for two two-week and one one-week sessions. Classes are Monday-Thursday 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Children's Park east shelter house. For information call Miriam at (712) 722-0761.
  
Prairie Fire Children's Theatre
The Children's Theatre Company visits and does a yearly one-week residency usually the latter part of July. Local children from the Sioux Center school district audition for the cast. Information concerning this event is published in the local papers. Also, watch our siouxcenter.com calendar later this year for more information.
  
Men's Slowpitch Softball
The league will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning in May. Games are held at Tower Fields. For more information contact Dave Ruter at (712) 722-0120.
