Symphony Orchestra

    Youth Fair       @ Your Library

While NISO is on its “summer break,” there is still a lot of planning and work going on. The board and staff are spending the summer preparing for their Noteworthy Season, which begins on September 26 with the Dakota Chamber Orchestra. Following that Guest Concert will be the Fall Concert on November 17. The Pops Concert will be held on January 30, and the 2009-2010 Season will end with the Spring Concert on April 13.

The first ever “Spring Fever Silent Auction” was held during the final NISO concert of the 2008-2009 Season. The silent auction consisted of many different items donated by many different supporters of the symphony. The event held a very pleasing outcome in which the board hopes to continue it as an annual event.

To learn more about NISO, last season’s events, and new season goals, feel free to view this issue of NISO Notes. More information will be available about the concerts once the new season begins.
